Political Power and Individual Liberty in Richard Epstein’s “The Classical Liberal Constitution”

This Socratic seminar provided an introduction to Richard Epstein's The Classical Liberal Constitution by selecting materials from each of the major areas the book deals with: (1) constitutional interpretation as practiced by conservatives, progressives, and classical liberals; (2) the national branches of government and their powers as established by the United States Constitution; and (3) the status of individual rights under the Constitution.
