Liberty, Law, and Economics
ABSTRACT
This conference on Law and Economics brought together a group of conferees predominantly from the Brazilian judiciary and schools of law. The intention was to learn from the experience of some leading Brazilian legal professionals and scholars how some classical texts in the field of law and economics fit into the Brazilian reality, and to discover what lessons we can draw from their experience about the political institutions most adequate for a free society.
