Liberty and Responsibility in Adam Smith’s “Theory of Moral Sentiments” and “The Wealth of Nations”

ABSTRACT

The objective of this colloquium explored Adam Smith's two most well-known works, Theory of Moral Sentiments and The Wealth of Nations, in Spanish with a group of Venezuelan conferees. We held this program in Spanish to build on Liberty Fund's network of young Spanish-speaking scholars as we explored the breadth and depth of Smith's thought.
